Delete Pages from a PDF Online

Remove specific pages from a PDF and keep the rest. Free and private.

Every page not listed here is kept, in its original order.

Delete Pages removes the pages you name from a PDF and keeps everything else in its original order. Type page numbers or ranges such as 2, 5-7 and download the result. It is the mirror image of Split PDF — use whichever means typing fewer page numbers. If you accidentally name every page, the tool refuses rather than giving you an empty file.

What you can do

  • Remove single pages or ranges, for example 2, 5-7.
  • The pages you keep are copied exactly — same content, same quality, same order.
  • Refuses to produce a zero-page PDF if every page is selected.
  • No watermark and no sign-up.

How it works

  1. 1Drop your PDF onto the page.
  2. 2In Pages to delete, type the page numbers or ranges to remove, such as 2, 5-7.
  3. 3Click Process File.
  4. 4Click Download to save the PDF without those pages.

Why use SmilingPDF for this

  • Quick for dropping blank, duplicate or sensitive pages before you share a file.
  • Kept pages are untouched, so there is no quality loss.
  • Nothing is uploaded, including the pages you remove.

Private by design

Your file stays on your device.

  • No upload
  • No server storage
  • No account required
  • Browser-based processing
  • No watermark

This tool runs inside your browser tab. Your file is read from your device, processed there, and handed back as a download — it is never sent to a SmilingPDF server, so there is nothing for us to store, read, or lose. You can check for yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and run the tool. Like most sites, SmilingPDF uses Google Analytics to count visits and which tools are used; that never includes the contents of your files. The privacy policy lists everything the site does collect.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Upload your PDF, type the page numbers or ranges you want removed (e.g. 2, 5-7), and download the result — every other page is kept, in its original order.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Split PDF keeps only the pages you name and discards the rest. Delete Pages does the opposite: it removes the pages you name and keeps everything else. Use whichever one describes fewer pages to type.

What if I accidentally name every page?

The tool refuses rather than handing back an empty, zero-page PDF — it's much more likely a typo meant "everything" than that an empty file was the goal.

Will this affect the quality or content of the pages I keep?

No. The remaining pages are copied exactly as they were — same content, same quality, same order.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
