Extract Pages from PDF
Click the pages you want and download them as a new PDF, or as one PDF per page. Nothing is uploaded.

Extract PDF Pages shows every page of your PDF as a thumbnail, so you can see what you are taking before you take it. Click the pages you want, or use the shortcuts for all, odd or even pages, and download them as a new PDF. If you need the pages apart, one tick saves each selected page as its own PDF in a ZIP. The pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality, and your original file is left untouched.
What you can do
- Pick pages by clicking their thumbnails, or type a range like 1-3, 7.
- Shortcuts for all pages, odd pages and even pages.
- Download one PDF, or one PDF per page in a ZIP.
- Pages are copied exactly: text stays selectable, nothing is re-rendered.
How it works
- 1Drop your PDF onto the page and wait for the thumbnails.
- 2Click the pages you want, or use Select all, Odd pages or Even pages.
- 3Tick "Save each selected page as its own PDF" if you want them separately.
- 4Click Process File, then Download.

This tool runs inside your browser tab. Your file is read from your device, processed there, and handed back as a download — it is never sent to a SmilingPDF server, so there is nothing for us to store, read, or lose. You can check for yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and run the tool. Like most sites, SmilingPDF uses Google Analytics to count visits and which tools are used; that never includes the contents of your files. The privacy policy lists everything the site does collect.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Got questions? We've got answers.
How do I extract pages from a PDF?
Drop your PDF, click the thumbnails of the pages you want (or type a range like 1-3, 7), then click Process File and download the new PDF.
Can I save each page as a separate PDF?
Yes. Tick "Save each selected page as its own PDF" and you get a ZIP with one PDF per page.
How is this different from Split PDF and Delete Pages?
Split PDF takes a typed page range. Extract PDF Pages lets you pick pages by clicking their thumbnails, with shortcuts for all, odd and even pages, and can save each page separately. Delete Pages removes the pages you pick and keeps the rest.
Is the original PDF changed?
No. A new PDF is made from copies of the pages you chose; your original file is untouched.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The thumbnails and the new PDF are made in your browser.
